UCSB Tag Approval/Denial Pending Articulation Help

I am interested in Tagging to UCSB for Econ and Accounting. One of the pre reqs to transfer is Business Calculus. My college has always had business calculus split into two courses and this fall decided to combine them into one course. The UC transferability articulation and the agreement between my college and UCSB has not been released, but the tag application is due by September 30th. A counselor told me they won’t know if the new business calculus course is approved until at the earliest October. I am taking the combined one course of business calculus currently this fall and for the tag application had to manually input it in under coursework (because it hasn’t been assist approved yet). Without this course approval it says I have 56 assist approved semester units (you need 60 to tag and with the approval of the course it would become 61). If my course gets approved in October, which is before Tag decisions in November, will they double check the course when reviewing my application or will they automatically deny it because It says I only have 56 assist units and my calculus isn’t listed as UC approved?

Don’t you need 60 semester units by the end of spring semester?

Edit: Can you take another course to meet the UC unit count?

Nvm misread the post

I can take a different law class in the spring but it would take away from a pre req at cal poly slo (which would hurt my chances because it is so competitive). But it doesn’t matter anyways, if they don’t articulate the business calc course in October for this year, then they won’t accept the tag because you need to complete all the pre reqs. If my business calc course does get approved it will count towards transferable units but on my tag application now it says I only have 56 because the business calc course isn’t assist approved yet.

Does anyone also know if they read the additional comments box on the tag application? If they do maybe if I explain this in there they will make sure to check?
