UCSB Transfer Statisitcs?

<p>Hi guys,</p>

<p>Im a student at UCR right now and was wondering if anyone came across transfer statistics for uc intercampus transfers for ucsb and the diff majors similar to ucla’s. so far i havent come across any and just wanted to know where my gpa needed to be at to be safe. i know its supposed to be 3.0 min and mine right now is just about 3.0 and i am bringing it up. one more question…when i apply next fall for fall ‘08…will they look at fall 07’ grades or just three quarters worth of grades? thank you.</p>

<p>They look at your whole transcript from UCR. Because the transferring from UCR to another UC is very hard…I would maintain as high of a GPA as possible. The essays should be exceptional…UCs give most preference to CC students. Maybe a 3.4 and above should be good–try to be active in extra-curricular activities and such.</p>
