UCSB - What are my chances?

-Will Retake, hopefully reach 1950 max.
-Yet to take SAT II, but I’m guessing around 600.</p>

<p>3.73 UC GPA</p>

<p>Extra Curriculers:
-2 Years Soccer
-2 Years Dodgeball club</p>

<p>–switched schools–</p>

<p>-2 Years CSF
-2 Years VAMS (Visual Arts and Music for Society)
-120 Community Service Hours</p>

<p>I’m currently a junior… should I join another club, or what?
Also, I go to a highly gifted magnet with very strict requirements to get in. Do colleges even care? It’s based solely off of a 145+ IQ entry, which equates to the 99th percentile.</p>

<p>This year I’m taking 2 APs/2 Honors
Next year I’m taking 2 APs/2 Honors.</p>

<p>Do UC’s like seeing honors? Or do they just look at the APs?
Thanks in advance. It’ll be hard for me to pull my GPA higher, since the magnet I’m in is very hard.</p>

besides, that was last year, the most competitive year in the history of the modern application system to get into a college. This year the stats are expected to drop a bit for incoming freshman.
I would guess 3.8/1820</p>

When you say 3.8 “weighted,” does that mean UC gpa? Or just the 5.0 scale that high schools use?</p>
