UCSC/Cal Poly Pomona Chances?

UC GPA: 3.3 (I think) UW, 2.98
SAT: 1980 (700 Reading, 630 Math, 650 Writing)- I recently retook the SAT and felt like I improved, haven’t gotten scores yet but I think it’s safe to say I got 2000+
Ecology Bio Subject Test: 670
U.S. History Subject Test: Also 670
ACT: 30 composite, not really planning on retaking it
Major: Biology (Though it’s possible, if very unlikely, that I’ll switch to physics or engineering)
Race/Gender: White male

Extracurriculars:
-Karate Classes for 9 years (up until 11th grade)
-Marching Band for 3 years (again, up until 11th)
-Dungeons and Dragons club for 2 years (3, if you count senior year. I was one of its founders, but not on leadership)
-Archery for 1 year (Started in 11th, still doing it)
-Volunteered for PEF (Pasadena Educational Foundation) at summer school for 2 years (Lab assistant for one, cooking assistant (?) for the second)- about 170 hours

I suppose I should also note that I have kept fish and lizards as pets for the last few years and have assisted by biology teacher in caring for her’s, as well as gathered quite a bit of knowledge on both herps and fish (I intend to concentrate on herpetology or ichthyology for my masters, but that’s fairly far off).

Obviously my GPA is my weak point, but I have been taking AP classes since 9th grade (7 total), and I’m currently taking 5 AP’s now, including both physics and environmental science. For some reason I’m getting straight A’s right now (apparently my laziness just had to wait until senior year to wear off), so I assume my senior year workload will look good.

Pretty much no shot at USC unfortunately. GPA is just too low to explain away.

UCSC: Low Reach
CPP: High Match
Test scores are competitive but GPA low for STEM major.
