I was accepted to UC Santa Cruz and I want to head towards the nursing route; however, UCSC does not offer a nursing degree. My choices for nursing schools are: UCD, UCSF, UCI, or USF. I am aware that nursing is usually a competitive field, but I am willing to take the extra mile. Currently UCD is my top choice, but I am skeptical due to the fact I have not seen any written paths UCD has written (http://hpa.ucdavis.edu/healthcareers/nursing.html) that allows me to attend UCSC first and then to attend UCD for nursing. Any comments on this?
UCD only offers a Masters level nursing degree meaning you need to get your bachelor’s degree first then apply.
Where accepted into any direct admit BSN programs? I would go for my BSN first, work a few years and then consider getting your MSN. If you were accepted into USF as a direct admit, I would go there.

UCSF also is a graduate level school.

You can attend UCSC and complete your pre reqs for nursing school for your first two years. After that time you can apply to some surrounding nursing schools.
