I’m still pending. So I guess there are people who got accepted
without change in housing message.
Anyone who still has same housing message?

@bostonboy,

if i were you i wouldn’t worry too much then. you got the gpa to get in, and even if you didn’t, ucla was my first choice and i got rejected. so your worst case scenario is pretty good anyhow, but honestly, i think you’d get in with what you got.

can somebody tell me (i’m ■■■■■■■■!) what this housing thing is for exactly? is it a straight-up dorm form, or what?

and another thing: does anybody know exactly how many transfers they’ve accepted thus far? are the number of people still waiting less than the number of people who have either been accepted or rejected?

@spacebaklava

I haven’t heard of any UCSD rejections thus far, which leads me to believe those who haven’t received the housing message yet are likely to be rejected when the last batch of decisions come out.

Unfortunately, I haven’t received the message yet, and so far I’ve been denied from UCLA and UC Irvine. The only hope I have left is SB or SD, since Berkeley is also 99% surely a rejection.

@fullyflaredd
May I ask your stat?

@fullyflarred

What are your stats?

Did you all forget that UCSD is having a waitlist? they are having a watilist right?

@seeto0
How do you know that?

this is sooooo ridiculous. are you guys sure NOBODY has gotten rejections. not that i remember seeing anybody posting they did, but wouldn’t they at least reject some of the majority who are, for all intensive purposes, not going to get in? this is so sad, i feel pathetic for even whining about this **** but enough already! all i want to know is whether i got in or not…

I also heard that UCSD and maybe UCI will have waitlist.

does anybody know what this housing application is all about??? i’m not asking whether it means you got in or not (and i remember posts where people who hadn’t had a change got in) just what it is for. please.

Anyone knows how to do this Verification form for Financial Aid that is due May 1st?

@Ktran13: What do you mean? You just fill out the direct deposit one online and the other two you fill out and print out and mail in with your tax info.

Any math majors still waiting. I dont get it i’ve finished all my math pre req like a year ago and did calculus based physics and some chemsitry. If i get denied what am i going to do lol

@Grimes99 Ok hang on to me for a second.
So this is what I see when I click on the “My Financial Aid Preliminary Award Notice” link.
On the right side where is this box that says Application Completion Deadline:

Your application must be completed by May 1st in order to be considered for university grants, loans or work-study, assuming all eligibility requirements are met. To receive an official UCSD Financial Aid Award Notification, you must:

* By May 1st, provide the UCSD Financial Aid Office with:
o Your signed, completed Verification Worksheet.
o Additional information if requested.
- By June 1st, provide the UCSD Admissions Office with:
o Your Statement of Intent to Register (SIR).

Then I clicked on Verification Worksheet link which I got 3 links:
UCSD Dependent Verification Worksheet 2011-2012
COVER SHEET FOR STUDENT 2010 TAX FORM
COVER SHEET FOR PARENT 2010 TAX FORM

So the one that is due by May 1st is the UCSD Dependent Verification Worksheet 2011-2012 where I have to fill out the boxes and click print.
