<p>I know theres probably a better loction to put this, but i figured this gets more traffic. Anyway I applied as a huma Bio major at UCSD with my two alternatives being other bio majors. And with biology being impacted i know this makes my chances slimmer. Is it possible for them to accept me but not into a bio major? Ive been hearing complete different things from different sources.</p>
<p>^ do you have tag? if you do and met the reqs, they’ll accept you and you’d have to pick a different major.</p>

<p>yeah grimes is right lol i wasn’t thinking when i was inputting my majors, i was more worried about getting into the school rather than my major.</p>

<p>If your primary and secondary majors are impacted and you are denied admission to both then you will be admitted as undeclared as long as you meet the requirements of TAG. That is what I have heard anyway.</p>
<p>Edit: I put both my primary and alternate major as bio so I was worried about this too. I actually sent them an email to change my primary major to Comp. Sci. B.S. (not impacted) but I am pretty sure you will still be admitted as undeclared if you don’t choose to shoot them an email requesting a change of primary or secondary major to a non-impacted major.</p>

I’ve been following this thread since the beginning (anxiously waiting with you all!!) and since you all seem very knowledgeable regarding TAG, do you know whether or not I had to put that I had 2 years of foreign language from high school? Or they will pretty much confirm it with my IGETC certification?</p>
<p>you should’ve given your H.S. transcripts to your CC, where they will certify your language requirements in your IGETC</p>
