i really don’t think the null is an indication, its just the system…nothing special…

^Hmmm. Hey, someone told me that if you meet TAG requirements but didn’t mark TAG on your application UCSD automatically puts you as TAG? Anyone know if this rumor is valid?

i dunno if its true,
but wat about if someone checks for TAG but dint complete Math/English before that certain semester
will they get rejected automatically?

i dont have null either

My null is gone…

haha, so maybe everyone could have got the ‘null’ but we just dint check it in time before they disappeared…make sense?

mine is gone

Fenris, do u know if we would be rejected if we check for TAG but we acutally werent eligible for it?

you’re just evaluated as if you weren’t TAG. you aren’t automatically rejected

I just got an e-mail from UCSD verifying they did change my major from Computer Engineering to Electrical, now hopefully the next batch comes soon so I can see if it actually matters haha

thankss Fenris :)

lol maybe they are reading this forum and they just wanna mess with us. I would do it :P

XD lol@ randolph380, I thought they would already be occupied with evaluating the 10,000ish applicants…they shouldnt even be able to spare a min to surf the forum hahaha

@Connie I thought it was more like ~14,000 applicants?

lol either way they must be buried in the sea of transfer applications…hahaha

Random question…but how do you change majors at SD :(

I went on their website and looked…but I don’t get the option to change my major when I click majors/minors on myapplication. I want to go from biochem/chem to biochem/cell bio…

**** sd. i wanna know. nao.

Thank gosh. My null is gone too. I just thought it was so wierd and it made me panick I am glad to know I wasnt the only one that got that.

Does anybody here have knowledge on computer programming? Perhaps the “null” was a programming error from them trying to alter the housing change message. If they were aware of us looking at it, or the rumors between the correlation with acceptance and the message (whether or not they are true), than they may have attempted to correct or alter it via the IT department. The “null” could be a result of bad code from this change.

Any ideas or speculation? I know how much we are all into that right now :)
