so the Null is acutally good??? correct me if im wrong…

I have no idea if the null is good or bad. Hopefully good. But the word null means something has no signifigance.

we don’t know the context. there are different meanings for null, both literally and in programming language.

i mean chrisjp72’s idea sounds convincing… :(

Relax people, the “null” is nothing to worry about.

and you know this how?

NULL represents 0 for computers. It is the default response if a field has not been changed by a user. The alternative is that the system outputs garbage data for those fields and this is never useful.

Discussions regarding BOLD font or italicized text and NULL pointers are meaningless unless you want to create a conspiracy about sadistic web-developers at the school who deliberately added more work to their jobs than just using a boolean flag to determine the output that you see.

Cuz I go to UCSD and I see it sometimes on the tritonlink website when I’m checking the degree audit or academic history.

This is really getting depressing. Still nothing for me. : (

Just checked again. Nothing. :(

Ditto
but UCLA and UNC come out on Friday!!! haha watch those schools do the same thing. I think I might end up on Shutter Island.

About two more weeks till the rejections comeout

^ I was wondering if anyone got accepted during the last batch last year.

You think the last batch is rejections? Why wouldnt they just send the rejections first?

i dun think we should worry too much since some of the TAG hasnt even been notify yet… and a lot of high GPA’s haven’t heard anything either …

although i am a “bit” worried…but …

^

Last year there was a big error regarding acceptances. There were people with legitimate TAGs who were rejected and later accepted after May 1st. I don’t think it does us any good to look on last year as a base year. There are also 30% more applicants. They must be doing something different than last year to accommodate for the huge amount of apps.

Staying off this site relieves a lot of stress. The more information you find on here doesn’t improve your chances of getting in. I’m going to do my best to stay away. I’m confident I will hear good news from the schools I want and so will all of you. (I hope)

hahahah that’s such a smart choice !!! okay … thats what i am going to do starting NOW …

Smart thinkin…

ok im off

I have some updates for you guys. My new room mate goes to UCSD right now. He is also a transfer student, and he started UCSD in the Fall as well. He said he didn’t get his admission decision until April 29th. So wow, looks like we could all be waiting for a couple more weeks.

: (

Also, I heard from another friend that the UCs and the CSUs are making it a priority to admit a majority OUT OF STATE students in order to get the out of state tuition, which as you all know, is far more expensive. Kind of shady if you ask me. The number my friend gave me was 70%. That’s 70% of newly admitted students are from out of state.

that only applies to freshman applicants. transfer admissions are not effected
