<p>@Oliver: haha I work off the 101 and I get off at 4. The traffic is fine until you get just past Wilshire on the 405 south, at which point it becomes a parking lot. It took me 3 hours to get back to San Diego last week when I tried so, so I’ve opted instead to stop at UCLA and hang out with friends/my cousin until traffic begins to move. UCLA is like 2 minutes off Wilshire, so it’s ideal :)</p>

<p>Oh dude, Grimes, always make sure you have somebody to ride with you past that awful part of the 405 so you can hit the carpool lanes. :slight_smile: When I was doing the SD-LA commute a lot, I always just took surface streets to the 605-5 merge, it wasn’t ideal, but it was much better than the awful 405.</p>
