so my grandmother’s brother just died… is it possible to get Special challenges Points for this… we were really close… if yes, where would i put this in my application…??

I talked about my aunt that recently passed away and the influence she had in my life in one of my prompts. I guess the readers liked it because I got into the schools that I never thought I’d be able to get into. hint hint

its really sad that the college admissions process turn the student’s whole life into digits and numbers that can be calculated… o well, i guess thats the only possible way thats fast enough ._.

unless it’s immediate family it usually doesn’t work anymore. If a grandparent dies, it’s not that much of an impact on prompts as a sibling or parent.

They’ll think you’re just looking for pity points. But you can state that you guys were close and it explains a sudden drop in your grade (if there was one) as a good excuse.
