How cheap are the used textbooks at the UCSD bookstore? I need Calculus and its Applications, 11th edition by Goldstein, lay, etc., and Principles of Economics, 7th edition by Case, Fair.

where did u find the books u need for classes

bookstore has always avoided being cheap – they know they are on-campus, they know students will pay for that convenience, they know some students don’t know that cheaper books are available online or will wait 'till the last moment to search theirs out, and occasionally they have books you cannot find anywhere else or obtain easily – so they sell mostly new books for full-blown mint prices

required books can be found on tritonlink – go to schedule of classes, find a course you are going to take, click on the red book icon nearby – a pop-up will open listing required books, or lack of thereof

sometimes you do not have to buy books as profs make copies available at the library to check out for 2-3 hours at a time – even though it is a pain to have to visit library when you really don’t want to, if you’re strained on cash, you can save yourself quite a lot of money checking books out instead of buying them

I want UCSD socks

Prices at UCSD bookstore are horrible except if you’re buying computers and software.
