<p>I just got a call from a lady about the interview, so I’m excited!
but we have to be there by 7:45 am–sooo early, I may just head out friday night.
By the way, I asked the lady and she said that 25 people were called for the interview, and there are a maximum of 12 spots. Good luck ceetee!</p>

<p>UCSD SUCKS! The application itself is a poorly put together word document. “You may e-mail your essay.” To what address? And I didn’t get so much as a confirmation that they received my app. Nothing. You spend days on something, write the essays, get teacher recs all over again, and don’t even know if they received it. *******s. But in a way, it’s good. Can’t imagine spending 8 straight years in La Jolla.</p>

<p>i got a call today saying that i was accepted. i know that they want to have exactly 12 people, so they call 12, and give them a week to decide. if anyone decides not to be in the program, then they call the people from the waitlist to fill the spots.</p>

<p>haha thank you very much! Yea the program seems really great, which is why I don’t have my hopes up- I don’t see why anyone would turn the it down. I emailed Miss Yvonne Coleman asking her how many students were waitlisted and how many have been accepted from the list in recent years—I’m hoping for good statistics!
