[/ul]Reflection[ul]
[] Strengths: uncapped GPA, EC’s
[] Weaknesses: SAT
[] Why you think you were accepted/waitlisted/rejected: I think I got in because I showed I was a genuinely passionate student. My EC’s reflect the three passions that dominated my life: violin, Chinese, and community service. I can’t really say about my essays because I got mixed reviews from students but good reviews from teachers, and personally I didn’t think they were that great, but then again I never think I am a good writer even though my teachers say so.
[/ul]General Comments: So far accepted to UCI and UCD as well. I didn’t think I would get into UCSD especially with all those increase in applications, and UCSD is becoming more popular than ever. If any future applicants are reading this, show passion in your EC’s and essays. Can’t stress that enough. Try to snag leader spots, too.
