@SD2018Dad my oldest who is currently freshmen at ucsd computer science was accepted into comp science last year. I have another son who applied this year to computer science this year didn’t get it. He was accepted as undeclared. I know the process, since I already have one there. With my second son we are going to look somewhere else. UCD is a good option from what I understand also. . Ucsd is a great school for compacting but I don’t like there impacted status stuff. Good luck.

Muir was my first choice though
Anyone else in Roosevelt?

Quick question: I understand that Regents selection is 0% holistic/100% stats-based?

Does anyone know what accepted as undeclared major really mean?

Amazing run for our son. Regents at UCSD, UCSB, UCI, UCD. Regents invite at UCSC (didn’t apply) and UCLA (waiting to hear). No Regents invite at UCB. Engineering at all schools.

UCSD is the first UC to give us any financial aid info – the Regents grant covers the entire difference between the cost of attendance and our EFC (as determined by FAFSA). May be hard to justify a private school with this type of aid.

@parkreation - how did you find out about UCLA? I understood there is no early action/decision??

@lacantante1 socal! how about you? :)
