I have a really strong hunch that tomorrow morning will be another round of admission decisions. I just checked my portal and it says that the system is unavailable, similar to what it said a few hours prior to Friday’s batch of decisions. #Praying

@jackisawesome bb I think everyone who got March 30’ed is rejected. I know Ut Austin did the exact same thing this year.

tbh doubt it @pleaseacceptme99 I think that there are still many great contenders for acceptance (I know a ton that haven’t received anything yet). I mean, you can express your pessimism in any fashion that you wish to desire; but, I see no correlation between the UC system and the UT system. Just because a school in Texas, or Michigan does something, it does not mean (at all) that a school in a separate state/location will do the same thing.
Additionally, why have another day of only rejections? I know people who were rejected during today’s batch, so why would they not have been pushed to the “March 30 date.” Another day of solely rejections and waitlists would be pretty useless.
I get that you are anxious- we all are. But I think that you are trying to reduce a possible feeling of pain that you think you will feel in the future by trying to determine it yourself in thinking something without precedent. Just try to be optimistic- you never know what might happen

I swear some people on college confidential have so little confidence in themselves and are way to pessimistic. Not going to go anywhere in life with that attitude

No one knows anything. Speculation will only lead to stress and anxiety. Stay calm and collected. UCI is not UCSD

@thejappster it’s not about not having confidence it’s just about seeing trends that have occurred previous year’s within the UC system and other systems.
I’m sure I’ll be fine I already got into Vanderbilt through mosaic so Im chill. I have confidence you just never know what the outcome will be for a particular school. I’m saying maybe I didn’t get in to ucsd but not because I don’t have confidence in myself but simply because it’s a numbers game and I probably didn’t “win” this round.

I am an international applicant, and I got March 30ed too. Although I remember reading that someone on this thread first got March 30ed and then got accepted in a few hours.
Did any international applicant on this thread get in? What about engineering applicants?
My interpretation is as good (or bad) as anyone else’s. Just because you don’t like mine please don’t belittle me and say I have no confidence and I won’t get far in life.

Haha then you are good! Vanderbilt is awesome! But there is still so little that we know about the admission process despite the enormous amount of info we are given. There is always the unknown and that’s what all of us are banking on. @pleaseacceptme99
Accepted to Sixth(first choice) as a Mathematics major. Looks like CS is difficult to get into 
Waitlisted for Davis though - is Davis tougher to get into?
@thejappster it’s a great school it was my number 1 school but it looks like I won’t be able to afford it so I’m hoping one of the UC schools I applied to accepts me.
