Yes i agree , UC Davis sending out all Freshman decisions the same day made it less stressful. Accepted at Davis one of my top top schools so I am very happy. The way Calpoly dragged it out was criminal, denied there after checking portal for a period of two weeks. Still no decision for me from UCSD , i will wait for the email.
UCSC is kind as well, time and date to check portals has been emailed.
I got accepted to both Velouria. UCD does seem harder though this year. A lot of people from my school got rejected from there, but accepted to SD

@evertim woah I applied for comp eng and CS as my 2nd and got admitted as undeclared too. I don’t know what this implies either. Also I only had 31 ACT and 4.3 W GPA. I think this means we are accepted into the school but not qualified for the major? If so I’m disappointed bc I believe it is impossible to transfer into impacted majors like CS and comp eng.
I don’t know, but even some people who got Ds during their junior year got accepted
@CyanYoshi I assume there’s been a high number of applicants for CS in UCSD, which is why you were undeclared. I believe the average ACT for the CS major is near 33+, so that might be the case. I think you should contact admissions and see what they have to say! Good luck, and all the best.

Does anyone know how many, of the 86,000 apllicants, were accepted to Davis?
The way they are making some wait is just plain cruel.

It was only 68,500 applicants for Davis. And only 5,900 were accepted. Their acceptance rate apparently dropped by 30%…Either that or they lied about their stats.

That stat is misleading. They only hAve space for 5,900 kids but they accept far more than that because not everyone accepted chooses davis

Oh yeah you’re right. They said they enroll 5,900, but that doesn’t make sense if not everyone who was accepted decided if they’re going there or not.

Trust me it is 68,500. I admit there are more applicants this year, but it wouldn’t suddenly spike from 64k to 86k. That’s just crazy.
