Well after being March 30th’ed for a couple of days, I got waitlisted. And I’m getting the same treatment from UCI. Applied for computer science as primary and computer engineering as secondary. GG

@wandersaur it depends every year on how many applicants decide to go to ucsd and how many people decide to opt-in
@wandersaur there’s no stats on it! but if you type in twitter “ucsd waitlist”. there ARE people that do get off the waitlist. Gives me hope but at the same time I don’t want a college that doesn’t want me in the first place. Im still bitter if you can’t tell ~O)
@sarale I highly doubt it I don’t want to go to UCSD anyways I just want a decision for all the hard work lol. Do you know when the next wave is coming out?

Waitlist stats are sometimes posted on the common dataset unfortunately not available for last year 2015.
For 2013/2014, no applicants were accepted off the waitlist.
So is it true that nobody was accepted today? =((
@meltingsoull its so weird that you haven’t received a decision. I think you should def call the office monday morning because yours seems like an odd case of still march 30d.
@wandersaur I think our major is similar enough, mine was pharmaceutical science. Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m pretty positive it is not an impacted major.
Last year a bunch of people were accepted off the wait-list so there is some hope lol

Good news mechanical engineering waitlist people! I got into UCLA so there’s going to be at least one slot open in UCSD.

If they knew everyone today was going to be rejected or waitlisted, why didn’t they just release all decisions at once like Davis did?
In at UCI, waitlisted at UCSD, rejected at UCD.
Don’t know what to think about his chances at UCSB now - it’s his #1 UC choice.
