I hate this I would rather get rejected than hanging like this

@SCVPilot: You opt into the waitlist and then enroll at another school by May 1. If you are accepted off the UCSD waitlist, you then can enroll at UCSD and probably forfeit the original schools deposit or not accept and stay with the original school.

I agree. This was outright ridiculous, like why make us WAIT this long just to get a waitlisted/rejection notification. I totally lost my respect for the people in charge of the admissions process. Well, it was a ride, y’all are still bright individuals, don’t let a decision bring you down, you’re still YOU. GO CLASS OF 2020!

Waitlisted, but for me that’s pretty much rejection. I am not going to wait until the middle of May, because all the other UC’s ask for SIR by May 1st. But that’s alright. It was nice seeing everyone freak out just like me! See you all later
