@thenewstyped I’m not sure whether I got a call but I think most school’s portals don’t update until the official release date
@Foodlover228579 they called my (mom) cell phone. Not sure why unless my son put it in as his since he doesn’t have his own.

I think it could go on longer than that. The “early calling campaign” seems to be followed by the “calling campaign”. Very confusing! It seems that it has different phases, part of it with faculty calling, part with alumni, and part with current students.
I heard from someone that regents are announced today. True?

If we are admitted do we find out then what college we are assigned to? Or does that occur after we accept an admissions offer?
Pretty sure you won’t find out what college you got into until your portal is updated in mid to late March.
@elkieschoof, my D is OOS. So, just to be clear, when you talk about portal getting updated with UCSD decision, you mean the common UC Application portal. Correct? From what I’ve seen, UCB got back to my D with a separate login to their own page/portal. But, not UCSD. So, wondering where to even look for any news. Thanks.
@CollegeDadTX She should have gotten a portal login from UCSD too. That’s where it would be, but decisions won’t show up there until mid-March.
@CollegeDadTX I got my invite to set up a portal login on Jan. 20. Email subject line was “MyApplication is now open!” from admissionsgeneralmail@ucsd.edu.
Have your daughter check her spam, if she hasn’t already. Sometimes important emails wind up there!
@CollegeDadTX - you can also just google UCSD application portal and find the link that way.
