Hello by when will we know if we received scholarships from UCSD like the chancellors or the hispanic scholarship.
Hey I sent SIR and I’m at the checklist when I log into my ucsd portal, but I didn’t pay any kind of fee electronically. Am I suppose to pay a fee electronically and if so where do I find where to pay?
@MuchPepe You should already know by now if you look at your financial aid summary. It’s under the gift aid section if you received a scholarship. If you received the Chancellor’s Scholarship, you should have received a letter in the mail also. I don’t know about the other scholarship but I imagine it’s the same.

Anyone know if it’s possible to switch from electrical engineering to computer engineering if accepted as EE as incoming freshman? If so is it easy or difficult?

So i sent my SIR but it didnt make me pay for it at all… was i given a fee waiver? All i did was sign my SIR
I think we’ll receive our student email starting in May. I didn’t have to pay a fee when I sent my SIR, so I guess you don’t have to worry about that.

@myztichearts99 if admitted to CS major, does student still have to declare CS major after 1 year (via lottery after meet certain GPA criteria)? or only those who are undeclared major or other major and want to transfer to CS major have to meet certain criteria and declare the CS major?

@restAllgreen: If you have a direct admit into CS as an in-coming Freshman or Transfer, then you are in the major. The lottery is only for Undeclared or other majors trying to switch into the CS major.
