Maybe having everything including change major means you’re in, having everything besides change major means you are waitlisted (because you will still have to use the portal and be able to change the password etc if you are on the waitlist) and having nothing means you are out?

Ha ha. So much speculation. UCSD with the major my son applied to is a reach for him. So I suspect whatever his portal has is a BAD indication. He only has:

My son’s stats are pretty strong and he still has checklist forms and change major options
“Change my major” popped up. What does this mean???
My stats are weak and I still have the check list but no change majors option
When I click on change my major, it does seem to say Undergraduate Fall. Anyone else?

Let’s see if I turn out to be right. I predict that if your portal currently has change of major, checklists and forms that you will be accepted. Missing one of these, waitlist. Missing all of these - rejected.
I got waitlisted at UCD but I don’t have the same portal as you. Not sure if the portal has to do with acceptances/waitlists
