@Calnervousdad im in the same boat, wondering why it is taking forever
@Calnervousdad, yes I got it now. I applied on Wednesday and got the email on the following Tuesday.
The email contained a link to the sign up to the Tritonchecklist.
And the same link is here. You can click on the link to sign up as a new user from this page

Thank you Noorkay. Much appreciated.
D admitted to class of 2022 as a Math-Econ double major. Preferred major was BME. What are the chances of being able to switch over to BME after joining? OOS. Has admits at UMN (In state) and UW Madison (Tuition Reciprocity with MN) for BME. Also USC BME (no aid). Pondering next steps. Thoughts appreciated.
@mnparent2000 I can’t imagine paying UC OOS tuition and not getting the major you want.
@CopperlineX2 indeed - my thoughts exactly. Not sure with the capped majors how difficult it is to move between. UWM and UMN have good BME programs and MN has a great ecosystem of medical companies. So the decision should be easy. I guess we’ll see.
Bit late but was accepted at UCSD (Marshall College) for Neurobiology! Super stoked and would love to hear any feedback about pre-med/neuro at UCSD and about Marshall College in general
!
Wow, I’m late, haha. But accepted to UCSD (Muir College) for Molecular and Cell Biology! However, will be attending Harvard
Rejected Compsci
UW GPA 3.96
UC GPA 4.27
W GPA 4.35
SAT 1520
ACt 33
Some got accepted with SAT 1130
Smh…
Hi! OOS. I got accepted to with a 3.7/4.3 and 36 ACT. My major is Aerospace Engineering and I was admitted to Sixth College.
I got the same thing. Apparently my social security numbers didn’t match on the FAFSA and the UC application so I had to update that. I should get my updated one soon.
Accepted as Undeclared- Social Sciences at Marshall college! Anyone know when we pick roommates and classes? Saw somewhere we pick classes in august but that seems late af…
@ohbuddy2 The housing contract becomes available June 11, so I’d imagine you’d pick roommates around then.
New undergrad students enrollment begins sometime between August 27 to September 2 according to https://blink.ucsd.edu/instructors/courses/enrollment/calendars/2018.html. This does seem really late, but classes don’t start till my September 27 (3 and a half month summer for me =D)
@Triton2022 Not sure if this varies by college or if they’ve changed it, but in the past they’d send out a survey in mid-July to everyone who filled out a housing contract. That survey would ask some basic questions about your living preferences and give you the opportunity to indicate roommates.
Did you decline UCSD yet
I was waitlisted but my dad got an email inviting him to Triton Day - an error maybe?
@mmstanfordbound I got the email too and I got rejected, I guess it’s an error lol
This has probably been asked and answered before, but how likely is it to transfer to computer science major? I’m a human biology major so it isn’t in the same college
@visigoth: It is very difficult to change to CS at UCSD. Once you meet the GPA and course requirements for transfer, it is done by lottery. If CS is your ultimate goal, you would be better off at another school where you have a direct admit.
