got in for speculative design!!
just like I thought before, there are three outcomes, accepted, waitlist, and rejected. That is it, find another luck.
OMG, both daughters got in! Both in Muir College! I’m so happy and proud of them! 
I was afraid only one would (or both wouldn’t).
1st:
Major: Mathematics
GPA: 4.0 UW / 4.52 W

GPA: 4.0 UW / 4.57 W

Congrats to those of you with acceptances. My son was waitlisted, but took it in stride.
Damn, I got in and I should be excited but on my decision it says that I was assigned as “Undeclared” to Revelle. On the UC Application, I indicated that I only wish to pursue a B.A. for Computer Science, and, in addition, my entire application was based around my passion for computer science and how I wish to use programming to facilitate my love of creation, most of my activities revolved around software positions, and community software projects, and my essays were also very clearly about my passion for Computer Science. So I’m hopeful that this is a mistake of sorts, but if not, I’m deeply saddened to acknowledge that unfortunately I will not be able to attend if I’m unable to pursue Computer Science as it’s the #1 thing in my life. sucks. hope it’s a mistake, but I can’t even call admissions.

Daughter is waitlisted. 4.45 GPA, 4.0 UW, 1370 SAT, lots of EC. So bummed. We thought she had a good shot at UCSD and SLO but waitlisted at both.

I have the same thing. Extremely Disheartening. Why did they accept if we cant study what we want?
