<p>welp im getting my documentation for my appeal papers. my father has been bed ridden for the last year and half and about to have back surgery, my brother is brain damaged and my mother has hepatitis C and all this while still going to school and work and taking care of them, so I think I have a pretty good case of appeal for hardship, let’s hope they have a heart.</p>

<p>my logic was that ucsd would accept more students because im sure their budget is in deficit due to the state of the economy… but boy was i wrong. those a holes are still rejecting qualified students and then waiting to the last second to tell us.</p>

<p>Hey - it looks like you guys are all up neurosing over the news we will get tomorrow. I am super bummed and nervous. I got accepted at UCI, but now they are giving me some attitude about my high school transcripts - as if it matters. I’m 30 years old and have a boat load community college credits, and they’re worried about high school? It seems petty to me.</p>
<p>Anyways, to Joeyd - I don’t want to sound too paranoid here, but my boss told me that because of the California budget-bull-crap she thinks that these schools (UC and CSU) are accepting more out of state students because they pay more tuition than us. She said she read an article about it - I don’t know where the article came from, but I sort of believe it… I hope some kid from Wyoming or New Jersey or something doesn’t take my spot! I have the TAG and everything.

<p>haha well whoever out of state student that took my spot… is getting their lunch money taken! I thought UC’s would help out their own state, but apparently not, I figured somewhere they would accept more students, I didn’t consider how shady they would be in accepting out of state students when 95% of them aren’t probably going to register anyway.</p>
