<p>UCLA – I think you should definitely appeal if you get denied admission. Have you talked to any of the admissions advisors at either UCLA or UCSD? Your SAT score and the fact that you are near completion of over 60 semester units before graduating high school is amazing … </p>

<p>OH BTW … it’s not being pretentious, it just means you are serious in your studies. If you wrote your essay all about it, maybe that’s being pretentious, but stating these things is not so.</p>
<p>I technically graduated high school in october when I passed the california high school proficiency exam. my school allowed me to stop attending high school this spring and just walk with my class i june. the english and econ requirement i needed to walk with my class i am doing through home study. thats how I can take 24 units this semester.</p>

<p>Umm I just took a **** load of AP classes.
In high school I tried to do too much and my GPA suffered because of it.(I had Amazing test scores though)</p>
<p>I was kinda bummed last year because I only got into UCI, UCR, UCSC and UCM.
Then my councilor told me I had enough units from AP test to transfer in a year instead of the normal two.</p>
<p>UCSB’s not bad or anything, its Just UCSD’s my dream school so i’d much rather go there…</p>
<p>Ya I tooke AP classes too but most colleges want you to retake thos classes later on. Atleast thats what Brown University and Cornell told me last year when they were trying talking to me.</p>

<p>I’m just using them for GE’s none of them filled any of my prereqs, but with them, I had almost all of the IGETC done before I stepped foot on my CC’s campus. I don’t they’ll make me retake them if they were just for GE and have pretty much nothing to do with my major…</p>

<p>Umm we’re not sure, she’s sent her SIR into 3 different schools(SDSU, a culinary school in SF and a Culinary school up here in sac). She wanted to wait and find out where I’m going before she makes her final decision.
