UCSD decisions are out Fall 2009

Hey Guys,
I am trying to get info on the waitlist. Another admissions officer I just spoke with said he had no idea what I was talking about---- and then I cited the name of the other guy who told me that was how it worked adn he still acted confused! ?!
Sorry for the false hope. Very crushed. Fing crazy people.
I will keep trying.
Hopefully this will be mute for us soon.
Congrats to all that got in.
Just to be safe, I say we start working on the appeals now. :(

still no rejection - i’m starting to wonder if I am still in review - i got an email a couple weeks ago asking to clarify some things about my reported grades.

If not, then I will accept my rejection as I already got in to UCLA

sobizzle, was UCSD your #1 choice?

Also, what does 10 char mean? I see it everywhere.

hmm, thats wierd gatita. but leave it up to the uc admission offices to hand out scattered info.

i posted a link to the ucsd website a couple pages back. and idk if it’s the same for transfer students, BUT for freshman students it says that they do not use waitlist…rather, they grant a certain amount of students admission for winter quarter instead.

daymm…ucsd is bsing us…
wttfffff…
thanks again gatita…

i pick rock!

i wish they would just send the fu ckin admission already, every minute is going by sooooooooooooooooooo slow.

paper? (10char)

Still nothing new for me. 3.95! It must be that one B grade that I got. =P

I don’t think I mentioned my health issues enough on my application so I’ll stress those in my appeal. I’ve had two kidney transplants (one in 1997, one just last June), I’m losing my hearing, and I’ve had multiple transplant rejection episodes this year but I’ve still managed to get good grades.

way to keep up the hard work snicker. 3.95 even without all of those setbacks that you are going through is great.

have you seen your housing message change yet?

Has anyone gotten a rejection today? My grades are fairly low (about 3.3), but with an upward trend. I haven’t noticed any changes to the page, can’t access the housing app, etc., but not seeing anyone getting rejections is giving me (possibly false) hope.

no rejection over here… well see though

i was rejected from ucsb either today or yesterday, but i still haven’t seen anything from ucsd. so who knows, maybe the fact that we haven’t been rejected from ucsd yet DOES validate a little bit of hope.

UCB is my first choice, then Davis, UCLA, etc…

yes Davis over UCLA, sue me

No change to my housing message and I can’t register for transfer admit day. Even if I’m rejected, I hope they let me know soon. <3

still nothing…i have tag and everything too!

^^ has your housing message changed?

I got rejected early last week by USCB, which made me think that my chances at UCSD are next to nothing, but who knows. I’ll have TAG completed at the end of Spring semester, so hopefully that will help me get winter acceptance. If worst comes to worst, I’ll be able to beef up my EC’s between now and November for next year, but who wants to think about that now!?

Yay!!! It took forever, but I finally got in!!!

3/4 colleges. Still waiting for Berkeley’s Reply.

Got in:

UC DAVIS
UC San Diego
UC LA
UC Berkeley: Pending…

nothing here either, my friends who have about the same GPA or even lower (i have 3.7) and we took similar classes they got in like a month ago!! iono what’s happenin…
i don’t see the housing message and can’t register for admit day sighhh

Congrats, LLDoe! I assume you just found out about UCSD today? What time? I’m sort of wondering if they are going alphabetically?

Also, is the login page on the MyApplication site the first change once accepted, or did people get an e-mail first?
