Ya, they told me that - “keep checking through the weekend”

yea most likely some people should hear tommorow

Has everyone else given up hope here? I just really think I am going to try hard (with everything Ive got) to not check my email until sunday after tonight. If Im in…Im in and If Im not then I will find out on sunday. Im sick of being stressed…

uc!hopefully: Yea I was thinking about that also. Good news and bad news at the same time I guess, start fresh and get good gpa but have to take hard classes :/

Well I should hope they have already made their decisions, because I’m going to have to call them tomorrow and see if I can get my status from someone over the phone. I have one day to decide on SDSU, I would rather go to UCSD, but I cannot really gamble on it.

yeah you should wait on ucsd and tell sdsu to give you time , hopefully the tables turn your way

I don’t give a **** about UCSD’s reputation no longer; they can’t even keep their words.

My friend just got email saying hes been accepted ? did any you guys just get one

just send in your sir and forfeit the money if u goto ucsd small price to pay for a school togo to…
I really hope my friend gets in tomorrow i need a roommate in la jolla !!!
COME ON Z DUB!!!

jmartin - your friend just got an email NOW?!

for being one of the best public schools in the US, this is absolutely *****ing ridiculous. especially for us tag students. I mean…its bad enough they completely screwed with a buncha my friends minds with their “fake acceptance letters” and now this…not respecting the deadlines that they’ve set?

yup my friend

Hmph - well, I didn’t get an email. Bummer. I thought that I would know today - every day the last couple of weeks I have thought “today has to be the day - I will definitely find out today.” I never imagined I would be going to bed on APRIL 30TH not knowing… man that ticks me off.

Good luck everyone… I have to get to bed.

im just kidding bro , haha sorry I had to do it

:P Ha, ha - so funny. Good night & sweet dreams jmartin.

You too man

Yeah, I’m ****ed about this too. I thought I’d absolutely know by this time. Are people even going to be working on this over the weekend or do we have to wait until Monday?

honestly they should be working overtime and getting this **** done NOW.

I’ve heard people stating that we have to send UCSD something regarding our financial aid by May 1st. What exactly are we supposed to send them?

I’m just curious if i still have to send them anything, because on my financial aid page, it just says…

“We do not show that you have a financial aid record for the aid year selected. If you feel this is incorrect, please contact the Financial Aid Office at (858) 534-4480 or finaid@ucsd.edu.”

Another page states…

"# If you’ve submitted your Statement of Intent to Register (SIR), then beginning in May, your official awards will be available to review and accept using the Financial Aid tool.

Complete your file before the May 1 deadline.

* Check your UCSD e-mail account often so you can reply promptly to requests for additional information or to view and accept your official awards.
o You can have your UCSD e-mail forwarded to another account by changing your e-mail preferences.
- Make sure you’ve submitted all requested documents before the May 1 deadline."

Were there any of you that were contacted by ucsd or anything to send them any documentation before the May 1st deadline?

I checked here - https://www-act.ucsd.edu/studentFinancialAward/checklist
I got an email on April 27 telling me to submit the stuff in the above link by May 1st. I’m sure they’ll extend the deadline for those who didn’t get decision yet
