<p>I do have TAG - for all the good it’s done me. I’m sitting here checking that stupid website every 1/2 hour – even now! Because I’m hoping they are working OT trying to fulfill their obligation to us.</p>
<p>I mean - didn’t we pay them to do us the favor of looking at our apps? How many students applied? At $60 a pop, that should’ve hired some extra help… If we had submitted our apps even one day after the deadline, we would have been screwed for sure – but no one at their office seems too concerned about this deadline.</p>

I am still in HS so might have to transfer to UCSD without TAG, but I wonder how mush does that effect?</p>
<p>Ya, I think the only way to do TAG is through the community colleges - I think it stands for Transfer Admission Guarantee - for transfers from community college.</p>
<p>I’m not sure about freshman admissions requirements, 'cause I’m not in that boat, but they should have some guidelines for you on the website? Have you checked it? There admissions office would probably be willing to break it down to you too – after all this chaos has settled. Maybe your high school counselor knows too… do you live in CA?</p>
<p>yep I do, I am thinking about getting in to UCSD as a freshman, but then i decide that i wanted to finish my GEs, since I do have lots of APs and stuff that can fullfil the first two years of college, so yeah… but I am going on a tour to UCSD, hope that will work out ,…</p>

<p>It says, ahem, “Decisions for transfer applicants will be posted between late March through the end of April 2009.”</p>
<p>Sure, they’ve got 3 more hours left in April, but I’m assuming they’ve quit work for the day - which makes them past due.</p>

<p>They said the end of April, and April 30th on all the documents I have received from UCSD. And really the last day should only be there to make sure they didn’t forget anyone, it shouldn’t be the time to sift through 1/3 of their applicants.</p>
<p>Well put Reki - if I were you I’d call them as soon as they open and insist they tell you if you’re in or not - tell them you have to notify SDSU.</p>
