UCSD decisions are out Fall 2009

Outthere
I was rejected from UCSD because a mistake I made on my application. I spoke with an Admissions Officer who told me to appeal. In light of all the mistakes have made, they are more likely to be forgiving of your “very human error.”

P.S. “very human error” is a quote I borrowed from a UCSD spokes person, and used in my appeal letter. I hope they appreciated the humor.

opoc, can you get away with italicizing “very human error”? haha

i got in for winter 2010…does anyone know if I can appeal for Fall?

finally, I got admitted by initially mistakenly rejected…
3.8GPA, BTW

to: opoc
“very human error” might **** UCSD off and reject you again, careful for the words choosing.

Greenleaves,
You have a point. But having already gone through the stress of being rejected, and forcing myself to look at it from a positive viewpoint (I’d save enough money to start my own company); The second time would not sting quite so bad.

The wording was ment as a sumbliminal aside.

On the other hand, I would probably benifit from not being such a smart ass.

i’m bumping this to give you all something to look through during the wait…

i like how popular UCSD is! :B

You know, you guys were horribly lucky. School system didnt change. im a 4.0 with 9 ap classes that didnt get into ucla, and am scared about ucsd
