got admitted to UCI today so that makes accepted for UCI and UCR just waiting on UCSD and UCLA
I just got a missed call from UCSD at 6:05 PM. Does anybody know what this means?
@Brian1990 Yes his GPA is 3.62. I have no idea why its not busy, but the odds is that he submitted his UC application in early October which is really early
@diuneilomo I don’t think what you are posting is true… nobody else has heard anything, some of your posts make little sense, and obviously you don’t know when your friend submitted it, considering that you couldn’t submit until November 1st. Try to get facts correct
Is anyone here who’s has U-lInk and is also on the new U-link contract?
Also, I think they’ve been sending out rejections but not a lot of them?? Cause I heard from a friend that his cousin who’s in U-link got rejected a few weeks ago so idk whats going on with that
@donuts95 are you serious? :-/ he had the contract and still got denied?! Did he satisfy it? I have the U-link contract, but it’s not the new one. That friend should appeal his decision if he has U-link!
heard no more ULINK, it’s not fare with other good students (high GPA). Said all kids are low income (not base on parents any more)
@brian1990 it doesn’t mean that if you have U-link, that you’re not a good student nor are you less than those that didn’t sign the contract. If they decided to discontinue the contract, then they would stop offering it in the upcoming years. If you already signed it previously, then they wouldn’t just retract it. U-link is like TAG but for UCSD, so I don’t understand why you think it’s not fair for those that signed it. You can have the highest gpa and still have U-link.

@Solstice1 yea I have Ulink. The old contract. I got accepted last year pretty early but it’s taking longer this year to hear back from them for some reason.
@Simoneye yeah I remember last year all my friends got notified early, that’s why Idk why it’s taking so long this year. If you don’t mind me asking, how come you didn’t go to ucsd last year since you already got accepted then?
