Pros and cons of UCSD?
specifically for economics
I’ll start,
Pro-
Well known school with prestige
Close to a large city for possibility of internships
Cons-
Student body seems to keep to themselves, not a lot of socialization
Far from LA/SF, perhaps missing out on better internship opportunities
Econ department seems relatively new?
Account minor isn’t enough to fulfill the 150credit CPA requirement

Will choose Berkeley hands down if I am admitted, as small a chance as that is. Obviously declining UCSD, I’m not going anywhere without a guaranteed major. I was reading into it too and you only get one shot at declaring ChemE or NanoE, and that’s after basically a year of classes. After that you’re basically screwed. I can’t imagine the stress.

@heyhey12321 There are on-campus apartments for transfer students called the Village. They’re having tours of the Village on transfer triton day. I don’t know if they’ll show inside the apartments. Each college has their own apartments too.
