Yup just checked the website, “opt-in” waitlist means you’ve been waitlisted, so weird, lol idc I’m just glad I got a shot still.

Aren’t waitlist and rejection usually separate?
Seems like for this, it was a rejection but they give you an option to get on the waitlist hmmmm

Essays: Pretty ok I guess? Spent weeks polishing it, went to my other tutors/English teachers/advisors for it
Accepted as Mathematics - Computer Science student at Muir
Honestly I am more excited about UCSD than LA (rejected) and Berkeley (pending), mostly because I fell in love with the campus and Muir really allows more flexibility for me to pursue my interest in English… Still waiting for the decisions of other non-UC colleges I’m applying to but I can see myself being a Triton in the very near future!!
