Thank you for applying to UC San Diego. After careful review of your application, we are unable to offer you admission for Fall 2018.

UC San Diego continues to receive many more applications from highly qualified applicants than we can accommodate. For Fall 2018, we received 116,000 applications.

Our applicant pool was highly competitive, with most students demonstrating strong academic achievements and exceptional personal talents and abilities, making it simply not possible for us to offer admission to all qualified students.

I encourage you to take pride in your accomplishments and continue to pursue your educational goals with confidence. I wish you all the best.
