@ feelssadman no as long as you finish your IGETC
For those waitlisted do not worry too much! I think they did that intentionally Bc they know you will get accepted at Berkeley, … I mean having 3.7 and above and getting waitlisted?? I’m sure there is a reason!
I feel like such a failure rn
Waitlisted

Looking now at the major requirements on assist.org, at least for my major, it seems that assist lists both recommended and required courses…
I went to UCSD’s webpage to check what my prerequisites were, and there are a LOT less than I originally thought there were.
http://admissions.ucsd.edu/transfer/transfer-major-preparation.html
“The courses used in the screening requirements for admission into the major are those on our website.”
Did anybody else just realize this?
@anx13ty I know very little about UCSB’s engineering school but I know both UCI and UCD are good… I think UCI might have a slight edge over Davis, however. I would also consider if you got admitted straight into the first major of your choice. Good luck… your choices are all great!
Admitted!

Congrats to all those who were admitted. That waiting game was just awful!
Also, does UCSD send admission packets in the mail?
@Cunningsloth out of state 4 year transfers are bottom of the list on priority. In state CC students are their top priority for transfers. Just the way it works.
@Cunningsloth you seem like an amazing student, but UCs have to take CCC transfers first and foremost, so much so someone who has an otherwise perfect application might have little to no chance if they’re out of state or not at a CCC. If a UC is your dream it might be worth considering attending a CCC first
Admitted!

IGETC: Done
Pre-req: Completed by spring
Good luck to everyone and especially those people on waitlist! Whatever happens will be for the best.
Anyone else thinking of waiting till end of July and opting in for the waitlist?
Accepted with a 3.56 GPA to:
UCLA, UCSD, UCSC, UCSB, UCD
No rejections yet
Still waiting on UCB, Georgetown, and SCU.
I’m a Veteran, student parent, did TAP/ Honors, and I do at least 20 hours of community service a week with NGOs and work. I spent two years on my Essays and I believe that is was sold me along with a 10 year history of political activism both prior and after the military. Any one looking at this in the future, work your ass off and do concrete stuff for your community not for show college clubs and that’s at least what has worked for me. I am in disbelief that I have been accepted to every school so far.
@rh1016183 I got accepted to Cognitive Science at UCD! CONGRATS! you deserve it! Unlike me, UCSD admissions found something valuable in you that would impact their campus. I wish you the best of luck, buddy! And everyone on here!
HOPEFULLY, WE ALL MADE IT TO AT LEAST A UC AND BE PROUD BECAUSE EACH UC IS CONSIDERED A PUBLIC IVY!!! AND CONGRATS TO ALL!!!
Any help?
