@NaniMata yeah no problem! Woah, UCI still didnt get back to you?! I heard back like 1-2 weeks ago. You should try shooting an email to admissions cause calling would just lead you to the receptionists.
For the informed delivery thing that everyone was talking about yesterday, I’m pretty sure you wouldn’t know if the package was coming until it reached your local post office. So they could have mailed them yesterday but we wouldn’t know if it was on its way until the day it is scheduled to be delivered.

What time does UCLA/UCSD release the decisions?
@Shaibleb UCLA will be at 5 pm Pacific on Wednesday; UCSD is all still speculation as to when they’ll do anything.

UCLA and Berkeley have already stated the date for releasing all the admission. But somehow UCSD didn’t say anything on it. Does anyone call them or have any idea when they will release their decision?
@jayshah12 wow I wish and I would call but I feel like they won’t really tell me much besides that they will release it by the 30th. I rather just wait honestly

Ok, i just talked to a transfer supervisor from my school. She said she talked to UCSD yesterday, and the decisions have not came out yet, and it will def come out before the end of the month…

I just found out I’m missing one course on IGETC. Would anyone like to give some input as to how does this affects my chances (considering my stats/background)?
Stats:
Major: Comp Sci Major
GPA: 3.81
EC: None, worked part time
Essays: Pretty good, had it reviewed by private counselor
My GPA is a little iffy, I’m a UCR dropout from a while back and when i filled out the transfer application they ask for all academic info so I put in all the Ds and a F I had.
On my current CC portal, it just shows that I have:
4.00 (58.00 Earned Units from CC)
2.00 (15.00 Earned Units from Other College Coursework)
and it lists the overall as 3.81. Do you think UCs would calculate GPA including all the failed UCR courses?
I guess total units I have is 73 but I don’t think all of those are transferable (ie. I took Public Speaking as as CSU req which I think UC doesnt need?) so I really don’t know how it’s going to be calculated. Anxious as hell waiting for decisions and just found out I wasn’t IGETC certified.
@justtransfer417 anxiety is a real thing for lots of people. Be lucky you don’t have trouble sleeping over things like this.
@jinyung2 You can do partial IGETC certification, which allows you to finish up to 2 missing IGETC courses later. I am also a Computer Science major with one remaining course for IGETC, and that is what I plan to do. As for how this will affect your chances, I don’t think it will at all. As far as I know, UCs focus more on major pre-reqs, rather than IGETC completion.

Got pretty much the same answer that everyone else has (I told him I had an SIR to submit and I simply HAD to know, still nothing…). BUT, he did say that Friday is a “really good bet” since “historically it’s been released on Fridays.” I asked again and said “are you SUUUURE you can’t tell me anything else” and he said that he couldn’t “mainly because I don’t even know myself”
