Not doing a SIR is the same as what is happening these days. My suggestion will remove those who only had UCD as a safety but were always going to UCLA if accepted.
I guess one variation could be for later UCs to put those who have SIRd to other UCs on their waitlist. That will give you the satisfaction of knowing that you could have been accepted at UCD if you had not SIRd to UCLA.
Have all the other college decisions come out besides UCLA, UCB, and UCSD?
Pretty Much. UCSC, UCM, UCR, and UCI are on a rolling basis but the bulk of applicants should have heard back. I am pretty sure that everyone should here back before the end of April.
I believe UCI still has a chunk of students they haven’t gotten back to. I’ve been checking that thread for about a month too.
So is UCSD planning on wasting our day today too??

Sorry you guys… I have a feeling this means admissions will be out on Friday, since they cancelled all the dates this week besides Friday. But I think this means decisions will be out by 4:30 on Friday!

@dahworst it’s definitely pretty ridiculous how long it’s taking, but it’ll be over soon you guys! I’m pretty impatient too because I really want to know if my boyfriend got in! But such is life

This may be stupid but are you 100% sure the calls are for transfer students and not the students that have already been admitted?
@ashleyes I suppose it’s possible, but it mentioned that there’s already been calling campaign dates before, and I don’t think it’s incidental that they cancelled those dates considering what’s been happening with these late transfer decisions. I find it pretty unlikely that it’s for freshmen, especially because they’re supposed to SIR by May 1 and this campaign goes past May 1.

I just want to say it’s not concrete evidence though! The dates may have been cancelled for other reasons, just thought I’d share what I learned from signing up for the campaign

Hey! Just wondering, have you guys already done calling Campaign this week? Because by the email you coppied and pasted it makes it seem like some calling has already been done but no transfers have heard back. So is it possible that these were for freshman? Or am I misunderstanding g
