are all of you guys planning on living on campus or off? just curious what the majority is trynna do
Hey everyone. Does anyone know if transfer housing is offered during the Summer Session? Was hoping to stay on campus while taking a course this summer.
I live right by sdsu and haven’t gotten my packet yet!
@gonnatranser I plan on living off campus. Probably rent out a room in house like I did this year!

@kristinpete yeah it’s pretty mind blowing. I’m really unsure what happened. I haven’t been able to get ahold of anyone today. I’ll probably go in person tomorrow and hopefully talk to someone. But I’m getting more and more excited and interested in the opportunities at UCR. it’s really a great school and underrated.
Does anyone know if you can study abroad during the first year? I know you are required to stay the first quarter but would it be possible to do a program in the spring?
@AceIsMy_HikingPuppy my daughter’s package arrived today in Northern CA. No stickers that I can see. There’s a badge to wear at Triton Day, a housing brochure (also available online), the same letter as is online, a Certificate of Admission with her name on it, and apparently you can make the envelope into a crown ha ha.

If I go to UCSD, I’ll most likely be living in the Transfer Village.

Sounds nice but I gotta say I’m a bit disappointed (jk - kind of). I’m sure they’ll hand out a ton on Triton Day, but I was sure at the least we’d get a sticker :neutral:
I’ve been able to go to a couple Hackathons this past month (one was UCSD’s HackXX) and MLH and the sponsor love to give out a ton stickers. I’ve been trying to collect more stickers every chance I get lol.

I’m gonna tell ya, my sister’s been getting a few of these and they have gone downhill so much compared to when I got my sets. I think it has to do with conserving paper. I remember the UCSD one folded out into a huge Triton.

SD resident here and still haven’t received my packet. Too bad there’s no stickers with the packet but hoping to get one on Triton day! I’m leaving the country for summer vacation and would like to put one on my luggage!
