Does UCSD usually post on their socials to look out for emails/portal changes before releasing decisions?
They will usually post on twitter when admissions are up in the portal.
Someone called UCSD admissions and they said it will come out tomorrow in the afternoon. Welp, they literally waited until the very last day to release decisions.

They had consistently said āby Fridayā or earlier inn the week ābetween now and Fridayā but now it looks like Friday (per people who called above). Really disrespectful communication. Disappointing.

If I get in iām still going lol. It would be the best school that I would get accepted to and they have my major. On top of that I love the location.

If UCSD accepts me I plan to attend too. I am a psych major and they have a lot of psychology-related majors which I really like and I like the location too . (UCLA is my first choice though if I get off the waitlist)

Very inconsiderate tbh If I get in, I still plan to attend as they have my specific major. But it is very rude to wait until the very last minute to release decisions. It speaks volumes. Had they said that it would be out on April 30th I wouldnāt have an issue necessarily but they kept saying by the end of April, between whatever date and the 30th. Not on the 30th. Sigh

Even if I get in, im probably picking UCSC over UCSD. this process was so frustrating and they havent given me enough time to even plan on visiting the campus and so far the only campus i truly like is sc. really disappointed.

Is anyone else applying from out of state? Iām applying from Arizona State with a 3.98 gpa. Iām trying to get into Environmental Science and itās really stressful because it seems like Iām one of the only out of state students applying.
