So, if you’re rejected by UCLA with 1970 on SATs; 4.3wgpa, couple hundred hours of community service, ditto for extra-curricular theatre involvement, where do you go? UCSD and UCI say “Welcome”! UCI is local and the “safest city in the nation” but does it have the prestige that UCSD seems to have? Psychology major with a focus on Cognitive.

I think your posting in the wrong forum

nah go to community college then LA

since you’re posting in the UC transfer section, guess the answer… hint, AiM had it.

if you post in the UCSD and the UCI sections, each will tell you to go there.

my advice, go to freaking OCC or IVC, save some cash and try again. If at first you don’t succeed, try and try again. UCI and UCSD are almost guaranteed if you’re a smart guy. By almost guaranteed I mean pull a 3.5 and do all required classes and you’re in at both and most courses are easier than HS classes if you were in AP and honors (depending on the major, some are harder)
