<p>So a couple days ago I received a phone call from a student at UCSD congratulating me on my acceptance into the university. Does this mean that I was accepted into my major or just the school? (There was no comment saying that I was accepted into the Jacobs School of Engineering.) </p>
<p>What can you tell me about the computer engineering program in the CSE department? Is it better than the ece/cse departments at UCD or UCSB? Without Berkeley, these are my three top schools. I’ll be visiting the two in SoCal over spring break, but I am trying to make an informed decision.</p>
