Is it hard for Asians who are not used to being with Californians (specifically Asian Americans from California) to adjust to social life at UCSD? I’ve only lived in the US for a few years (2 years in Irvine, California) when I was in elementary school, so I’m very used to Korean culture/social life.
There are plenty of Korean nationals and Asian-American Californians at UCSD. You’ll be able to find friends in both groups if you so choose.
