UCSD sucks?

<p>so why is it the #3 UC? what makes it so ‘great’?</p>

<p>it’s good at science. if you like a variety of majors and athletics, you shouldn’t apply there, go ucla.</p>

<p>My friend that goes to UCSD and enjoys both robotics and choir (Engineering) is having plenty of fun there.</p>

<p>UCSD has arguably better science and engineering than UCLA.</p>

<p>If you need football, apply to UCLA, Berkeley or Davis.</p>

<p>UCSD is kinda confusing because of the whole residential college thing…but some people prefer it.</p>

<p>There is a thread on the UCSD part of this website that lays out the colleges in an informative, irreverent and funny way… sorry I don’t have the link but when I read it four months ago one of the posts had me ROTFLMAO (rolling on the floor laughing my $&$ off).</p>

<p>In addition to science, SD also has excellent programs in subjects like Linguistics and foreign languages. What are you looking for? </p>

<p>While possibly confusing for an applicant, the res college system is supposed to make the campus “feel” smaller than it is.</p>

<p>I know 4 people who go there, and I am sorry to say it, but both arrogant ■■■■■■■, with rich mommies and daddies, an inflated high school gpa, tones of AP’s with low grades, and a total lack of personality and social skills. I’ve heard similar, if not the same from many others</p>
