UCSD vs CPSLO [UG Business]

Hi there!

Based off Business week’s statistics, graduates at CPSLO income median is $51k whereas UCSD graduates have a $46k Mean and a $50k median.

Are there any graduates/current students from UCSD who can discuss their personal employment opportunities and/or talk about the networking found in UCSD?

I’m very surprised how CPSLO has a higher [70] compared to UCSD [29] despite graduates from CPLSO making slightly more.

My main concern is networking opportunities.

Moreover, what’s the UG experience like at UCSD for biz majors? Any advice would greatly be appreciated.

SD doesnt have business…are you talking about econ?

A disproportionate amount of Cal Poly students are engineering majors

and what about all the premed students at ucsd, wouldnt they make -$60k after graduation? :P

yeah whoops lol. i found out the only UC’s offering biz admin in a BA degree are UCB, UCI, UCR, UCM…hahah who goes there?

anyway. nahh i was referring to business. but for some reasons SD, came up, so i thought they offered biz admin. but that’s not the case.

@kmzizzle – i was just referring to the business graduates. i have no concern but a lot of respect to premed students. crazy ppl lol.

the actual rate of students getting into med school isn’t significant enough to increase mean salaries. of all my bio friends, i can only name a handful of people that have actually gotten into an md or do program; i can’t even count how many friends are now looking at careers unrelated to physical/natural sciences.

do you have any friends enrolled in the econ dept?
