I’m transferring to either 1 of these three schools and I’m not sure where to go this coming fall. For most people, UCSD seems like an obvious elimination but I have a lot of friends that go there and as a transfer I feel like it would be nice to already have an established support group. I’m a history major and I planning on going to law school after undergrad. Hopefully go into a career in politics. I really have no idea where to go so any insight or advice is welcomed.
Hard to say. Economics plays an important and pragmatic part of the equation. Also your interests and likes are important. Big time sports Greek life. Alumni network. Success in placing law school candidates etc. A little color on your situation will yield better guidance from the CC pack.
My financial aid is the exact same for UCSD and UCLA. I’m still waiting for USC financial aid so idk yet. I’m trying out for college cheer and I definately want to be a part of Greek life. Personality wise, I’m pretty liberal and since I’m a minority would appreciate a bit of diversity. I’m really trying to go to a T14 law school and I’m prepared to work hard to achieve my goals through GPA, LSAT, and internships. Idk I just want to go the school that is the best fit and will best help me achieve my law school/career goals.
I would most likely narrow it to UCLA or USC if the economics are the same. This is based on your feedback. They will check all of the boxes for you. I am not sure of the relative diversity of each school but I bet they are both good in that department.
Also I am not sure of the financial aid for usc transfers.
I didn’t even know San Diego had a cheer squad.
Being a resident of SD, you would think that I would have heard of them at least once! It’s not a known activity for SD.
UCLA and USC do have cheer squads since they both have football, and other big sports.
