<p>I am applying to the University of Washington.</p>

<p>I graduated from a very highly rated public HS in WA.
3.71 GPA after Jr. yr.
3.61 GPA at graduation (senioritis!)
5 Honors classes.
3 AP classes.
4 yr varsity letterman.
Special scholarship recognition at graduation.
Lots of volunteer activity.
Summer jobs all three years.
Some minor student government activity.
1960 SAT (Reading - 620, Math - 680, Writing - 660).</p>

<p>Applied for Summer Qtr.</p>

<p>Chances? </p>

<p>Any harm in applying for Summer Qtr. instead of Fall Qtr?</p>

<p>If you’ve used your gap year well, and can articulate that, you have a pretty good shot at getting in. 3.61 GPA is a little iffy, perhaps retake the SAT or try the ACT to improve your chances. Best of luck!</p>
