UF and Female Physics Majors

Does UF give special preference/thought to physics majors that are applying if they are female or do they not care about the gender?

Obvious ■■■■■. There are no girl physicists.

You’re an *******.

I knew Cornell and MIT favored females for physics majors but what is your file anyway?

Jeez, take a joke lol. I’m sure they’ll notice, but it won’t make/break your application by any means.

Most physics departments are happy to have women as majors (I know mine does), however, if you are applying as an undergraduate, the department has little to do with admissions. in my experience, there is usually plenty for room for physics majors, it is not often a limited admission major, so you are probably good as long as you meet admission standards.

I don not think so. Usually only if your a grad student
