UF application (community service)

<p>This is exactly what I put under community service: </p>

<ul>
<li><p>Volunteer at local library for an entire summer. </p></li>
<li><p>Metropolitan ministries with a few different clubs. I helped to prepare food.</p></li>
<li><p>Relay for Life with Cross Country. I ran a concession stand selling goods.</p></li>
<li><p>Volunteer at Optometrist clinic for a summer. I volunteered at the side of Dr. Rodriguez. I assisted him in working on lab procedures and shadowed him to learn more about the science behind optometry</p></li>
<li><p>Mathematics and Science Tutor at an elementary school for Key Club</p></li>
</ul>

<p>I used up almost all of the characters this way… do you think it’s bad or lackluster?</p>

<p>My other stats are a 3.5 unweighted, 4.1 weighted, 30 ACT, several clubs with several officer positions, a job at gamestop. </p>

<p>Oh and I am Hispanic, if that helps at all.</p>

<p>UW GPA - 3.6/UF W GPA - 4.2
SAT: 1440/2170 (M - 700/CR- 740/W - 730)
ACT: 33 (M - 34/E - 34/R - 33/S - 30)
Class rank: Top 10% (unsure of exact number)</p>

<p>Numerous awards including essay contests, local 5K medals, AP Scholar with Honor, Principal’s Award, Track regional finalist, Cross Country captain and team fastest time award, NHS…
ECs like Spanish Club, two local running clubs, Cross Country, Track…
Service including score keeper for local youth baseball league, stat keeper for local youth football league, event timer for local middle school track meets, and some volunteering at a local elementary school (janitorial).</p>
