UF Class of 2016 Admission Stats

<p>The following are the admission stats for the University of Florida for 2012 (Class of 2016):
Number admitted for Fall, Summer B and Spring: 11,700</p>

<p>Admitted for Fall: 7300
Admitted for Summer B:3300
Admitted for Spring: 1100</p>

<p>Anticipated freshman class size:6,400</p>

<p>Admission into Innovation Academy:1,366 (Anticipated initial class size 500)</p>

<p>My son was admitted and he is thrilled, what were last year's admssions stats?</p>

Admitted students: 11,468</p>

<p>Fall: 7300
Summer B: 2900

<p>Enrolled class size:6,500 (over-enrolled by 100)</p>

<p>If you go out to the Florida Alligator's Website, you can google for previous year's stats....</p>

<p>The total number of complete applications to UF for 2012 is about 29,738. There were some incomplete applications filed but the number is unknown. It is also unknown if the applicants who applied to the UF Innovation Academy are included in the above figure. The 2012 application total exceeds last year's number by about 300.</p>

<p>UF released updated admission stats for the Class of 2016 and re-configured the manner in which the results wer reported.</p>

Acceptances for Fall and Summer B: 11,763
Acceptances for Innovation Academy: 1366
Projected Freshman Class Enrollment for 2016:6,400

Mid 50% GPA: 4.1-4.5
Average GPA: 4.30
Mid 50% SAT:1830-2070
Average SAT: 1951
Mid-50% ACT: 28-32
Average ACT: 30</p>

<p>It would be interesting to know how many OOS applicants were admitted, but it doesn't sound like they post stats for that.</p>

<p>As far as i know UF does not publish OOS admission figures. They are capped at 3% of total admissions although last year aneccdotal information appeared to reflect only 1.6% were OOS.</p>
