PSU vs. UCSB vs. UC-Irvine vs UT-Austin vs UF:

Conclusion: UF has better SAT scores, GPA, and lower acceptance rates.

Conclusion: UF has better SAT scores, GPA, and lower acceptance rates.

UCSD vs. GT vs. UF vs. UNC-Chapel Hill vs. Chapel Hill vs. WM

[Compare - Best Colleges - Education - US News and World Report](http://colleges.usnews.rankingsandreviews.com/college/compare/items+1317+1535+1569+2974+3705)

Conclusion: UF is tied for highest GPA, middle of the pack acceptance rate, and SAT range only better than UCSB. This looks like the group UF is competing with based on statistics. The ranking don’t reflect that because UF has the cheapest tuition by far with many large classes and high student/faculty ratio.

When we get the other values we can compare more in depth.

however, the business programs in about half of these surpass uf’s…some by a large margin, and that is my only concern about college rankings.

Edit: not half, more like almost all of them

US News doesn’t use business as a criteria when rating colleges over all.
